“I created a better life for myself…one designed by me”. A quote this powerful could only come from a strong foundation. Jacqueline Turentine says hers began with both grandmothers. One was a philanthropist, and the other grandmother couldn’t read or write. But both women shaped her in measurable ways. The first taught her about sacrifice, structure and stability. The other taught her how to quilt, garden, and treat illnesses through home remedies. And both taught her the importance of family. These lessons formed the foundation for her determination and even survival in the years ahead.

One example of this came after her divorce. She was left alone, and with little resources, seeking a way to re-establish herself. She felt a calling toward real estate, but needed a means to invest in herself. So she started a small sterling silver business that helped her pay for real estate classes and also supplemented her income. On the weekends, she would visit salons to sell the sterling silver. Those customers would become some of her first real estate customers, as well.

She also faced the challenge of finding a home for herself the second time around. She pursued and purchased a small, humble home with the assistance of a Carlton Sheets ‘No Money Down’ program that she had invested in years earlier. This act gained the interest of a church member, who then asked if she would help him find a home. She did just that, and the cycle continues today. Throughout that journey, she realized that everyone deserves a purposeful and refined quality of life, and your home is where that transition begins. It’s also what inspired her mantra and focus, known as “Real Estate Refined”.

Today, Jacqueline pays forward those lessons and experiences by working with selective clients seeking to transition to a new phase of life so they can achieve the refined lifestyle they deserve the second time around. She specializes in assisting professionals, seniors, and families who are seeking a better quality of life. She is skilled at stress-free solutions, and guides her clients into their new phase of life with clarity and compassion, regardless of where they are in their journey.

When Jacqueline isn’t refining her own real estate skills, she enjoys swing out dance, playing tennis or badminton, skating and occasional target practice. Her future goals include learning more about her ancestral history, and traveling to Africa. Her wish for everyone to live a better, more refined quality of life starts at home, but she believes there is no end to the journey.
